Math Calculators

A small set of honest tools for arithmetic and algebra—clear about what they calculate, what they verify, and where they stop.

Five focused starting points

The graphing page is a standalone browser tool. The other pages explain the exact beta boundary and lead back to the verified solving workspace.

Current beta

Capability before coverage

Input
Typed arithmetic and algebra. No photo upload or free-form word problems.
Verified solver
Exact arithmetic, degree-two polynomial simplification, one-variable linear equations, and basic real-domain quadratics.
Browser graph
Explicit polynomials in x up to degree two. The graph is a visual aid, not a proof of a solution.

Questions

About these math calculators

Are these calculators free?

The browser graph and the current core typed solver can be used without an account. Proofline does not require credits for these deterministic beta tools.

Which math topics are supported?

The current beta covers exact arithmetic, basic polynomial simplification up to degree two, one-variable linear equations, and basic one-variable quadratic equations over the real numbers.

Can I upload a photo or enter a word problem?

The verified core accepts typed mathematical expressions. When the Photo tab says Ready, it can transcribe a photo into an unverified candidate that you must confirm before solving. PDF input, word problems, open-ended AI explanations, and calculus remain outside the current scope.

Have a typed problem ready?

Return to the main workspace to confirm the expression, solve it, and inspect only the steps the beta can verify.
