About

Proofline is a web-based math solver built around a simple idea: seeing how the system read your problem is as important as seeing the answer.

The first version is intentionally narrow. It focuses on typed arithmetic and algebra where every displayed step can be checked.

Why another solver?

Many tools optimize for the fastest possible answer. That is useful, but it can hide a misread symbol, a skipped condition, or an explanation produced after the fact. Proofline separates interpretation, solving, and verification so uncertainty can stay visible.

What we are not claiming

Proofline does not solve every kind of mathematics. The verified beta is intentionally limited to its published algebra capabilities. An available Photo tab can transcribe an image into an unverified candidate for you to confirm; PDF, drawing, natural-language, and open-ended follow-up tools remain unavailable. Unsupported problems are declined rather than guessed.

The working name

Proofline is the working brand for this beta. The product itself is a Math Solver: the plain-language job remains the most prominent name on the page.
